Till 6th Century, Zoroastrianism reached at China. If so, At same time, Zoroastrianism reached at Japan through Japanese envoy to China in the Sui dynasty, I think. I wonder if It was from them that Japanese first knew about Zoroastrianism.

There are many enigmatic stoneworks in Aska of Nara prefecture. Those are neither for Shinto or Buddhism. We still don't know the proper purposes. Seicho Matsumoto who was the famous Japanese mystery writer and created the boom of Silk Road in Japan had asserted those stoneworks are derived from Zoroastrianism and proofs that Persians came to Aska.

Sakahune-ishi which is one of enigmatic stoneworks in Aska is typical example. Mr Matsumoto asserted this is for the manufacture of Haoma. But the stonework has more important roll than his explanation. It is the map which leads the stonework to other stoneworks. Additionally, the posture is like figure of human being. The map shows us the correspondence Macro Cosmos which we can see as the stoneworks with Micro Cosmos as figure of human being on the Sakahune-ishi stonework. This is the symbol of eternal life. It is same with myth of Hom, Cosmic tree, in Zoroastrianism. Briefly, Sakahune-ishi was a facility of funeral ceremony for praying rebirth of departed soul in heaven.
